THE COLLABORATION
ORANGE DOG introduced the Sittingsuits Artist Edition series through a limited-edition wearable art collaboration with Danish artist Steen Berg Hansen. His vivid, playful visual language moved from canvas to a functional form designed to be worn, used and taken outside.
The edition was produced in 200 pieces worldwide. Each piece was accompanied by an original numbered and signed Certificate of Authenticity.
THE ARTIST
Steen Berg Hansen’s work is driven by colour, imagination and an instinctive sense of play. His paintings combine spontaneity with emotional intensity, allowing serious artistic intent and childlike freedom to exist side by side.
Art writer Ole Lindboe has described the work as saturated with joie de vivre: energetic, musical and resistant to unnecessary solemnity.
THE ARTWORK
The edition carries Steen Berg Hansen’s expressive use of colour across the full Sittingsuit surface. Shapes and colour fields change as the piece moves, turning the wearer into an active part of the composition.
Artist Edition #1 was produced as a limited edition of 200 pieces.
